Precious art in ruins. One of those numerous sculptures at Kambadahalli in Nagamangala taluk of Mandya district.

Back from a lousy weekend. Was down with cold over the weekend and with a tragedy this morning. Not a good start of the week. Eagerly looking for the weekend.

    Get well soon if not yet and get over with the tragedy also.

    Are they doing anything to revive these valuable sculptures ?

    looks like one of those yakshagana crowns that the ‘nayaki’ wears.

    and for a second, i thought why those 2 persons were sitting nude ….before i realised they were sculptures too!
