Been a long time since I blogged… :(

For the time being here is a snap taken during our Ooty trek — came across this hotel in Ooty just opposite to railway station —

    hehehe…..actually ‘gay’ has
    other meaning when used as an adjective….if that was the pun you intended

    “Bright and pleasant; promoting a feeling of cheer”

    usage: “a gay sunny room”

    In 1993 I asked the owner what Gaylord meant. He told me it meant Gift of God. When I explained the English meaning he grew earnest and said that he should maybe change the name. Happily he hasn’t!
